THE
FUTURE IS NOW!
Into the new millennium brings us to the Kids' WB20 Club on KBWB in San Francisco, California. We are the On-Air Personalities and Community Outreach Representatives for the station. Having acquired hundreds of wigs, costumes, and props over the years...it's easy to see how we have developed lots of funny, wacky characters using our acting and performing abilities. We are please and proud to have this "Creationship" with the nicest people at the Kids' WB20 Club. Our thanks to all the kids and parents who are watching. AND NOW MORE OF OUR STORY... From 1994-1998 we hosted the FOX Kid's Club - KTVU FOX2 in Oakland, California. Our on-air presence was daily, as well as the all-important Saturday Morning Cartoon slot. Before officially being the hosts' of the Kids Club, we were contracted by KTVU FOX2 to write theme music for the children's TV special titled: "Animal Crackers" where we shared and delighted in the celebration of an Emmy Award for the show. We later scored the music for the Emmy nominated children's TV special titled: "Kidpower." A great relationship began...we continued to do excellent work and we were honored to receive several prestigious National/International Awards. In 1997 we won the "Fox Kids Monument Award" as Most Outstanding Kids Club Hosts of the 172 station network; the 1996 "Fox Kids Monument Award" for Excellence in Children's Programming; and the Kids Club also won a 1995 "NAB Award for service to Children'sTelevision." We are so grateful to have had the opportunity of a lifetime! BUT ACTUALLY... Our journey into TV Land started in 1993 with our very own television show called "The Cotton Candy Express Show" at TCI Cablevision in Hayward, California We shot once a month and sometimes two times a month for two years. We wrote the half hour show, produced it, directed it, wrote the music, choreographed it, designed the sets, coordinated crew members, shot on location, got all kinds of kids and their parents to be a part of the show, we put up the sets, we tore down the sets, all within a strict two hour time frame, or else! AND THEN - starred in it, and performed our original musical variety show which aired every Tuesday evening. Whew! Thanks to TCI and staff for providing the television studio that propelled our future vision forward. WRAPPING IT UP Oh sure, TV Land is fun and creative, but, it's also a lot of intense hard work and preparation that we welcome each and every day. Because we love and enjoy what we do, we have an 'attitude of gratitude' that we share with our audiences everywhere. Sooooooooooo .. We continue to be a part of Bay Area TV. We are still with YourTV20. We have developed new Eco Shows and are passionate about our work. |
